The BWBC uses a Google Groups listserver that allows people to share interesting news, videos, and ideas and to make suggestions for improvements. Steering Committee Members
While everyone can contribute to the listserver and at meetings, the steering committee sets agendas and provides continuity from meeting to meeting. Responsibilities of steering committee members include: strategic planning; setting agendas; leading bike/ pedestrian projects, initiatives, and events. Steering committee members meet once a month, in addition to leading the monthly council meeting. The BWBC maintains a close relationship with the Burlington Department of Public Works – they are an ally in getting things done!
